What happens in this scene?
What happens in this scene is that, the lady can see steam coming out from the bathroom, and the door is open, she goes in and takes the plug out for the water to drain, as she brings her head up she see's a girls face in the reflection of the water, and starts to scream, her Husband/boyfriend runs to comfort her.
Aspects borrowed from "PSYCHO"
The borrowed aspects from "psycho" is the mise en scene of a bathroom, and the close up on the plug whole, and then another borrowed aspect is the draining of water.
What happens in this scene?
Girl walks in a hallway, towards the shower room, as the man is taking a shower, girl sneaks beside the shower, takes a knife out, and then opens the shower door, and stabbes him many times till he falls to his death.
Aspects borrowed from "PSYCHO"
The aspects borrowed from "Pyscho" in this, is the mise en scene of a shower, the knife, however it is different because female is the on in power. They also borrowed aspects of the camera shots, a close up was used on the toe as water was dripping similar styles where used in Psycho.
